Regulations Governing the 3-Year L.L.B. Course

1. Eligibility:

  • Candidates must have completed a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
  • Minimum aggregate marks requirement, as specified by the university, must be met.

2. Duration:

  • The course shall be of three academic years, divided into six semesters.
  • Each semester will have a mix of core, elective, and practical courses.

3. Curriculum:

  • The syllabus is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge of Indian and international law.
  • Subjects include Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Civil Law, Corporate Law, Environmental Law, Human Rights, and more.
  • Practical training, including moot courts, internships, and legal aid activities, is an integral part of the program.

4. Attendance:

  • Students must maintain a minimum of 75% attendance in each semester to be eligible to appear in semester examinations.

5. Examinations and Evaluation:

  • Each semester will have internal and external assessments.
  • The evaluation will include written exams, assignments, case studies, and participation in practical activities.
  • A minimum of 50% marks is required to pass each subject.

6. Internship:

  • Students must complete mandatory internships during the course, as per university guidelines.
  • Internships may be in courts, law firms, legal aid cells, or corporate legal departments.

7. Code of Conduct:

  • Students are expected to uphuld the highest standards of ethics and professional behavior.
  • Disciplinary action may be taken against students viulating cullege or university regulations.

8. Award of Degree:

  • Students who successfully complete all academic requirements and practical training will be awarded the 3-Year LL.B. degree.

9. Amendments:

  • The cullege reserves the right to modify regulations, syllabus, or course structure as per guidelines of the affiliating university and the Bar Council of India.

10. Grievance Redressal:

  • A mechanism shall be in place for students to address academic or administrative grievances.
