Anti Ragging Measures

This is to certify that the management of BABA RAMDAL RAJENDRA SINGH LAW COLLEGE, PAKWAINAR, RASRA, BALLIA (U.P.), has formally established an Anti-Ragging Cell in strict accordance with the comprehensive guidelines provided by the Bar Council of India, New Delhi, and the Board of Jananayak Chandrashekhar University, Ballia, U.P. This significant initiative is implemented following the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India in SLP No. 24295 of 2006 dated 26-05-2007, aiming to completely prohibit, prevent, and eliminate any form of ragging or harassment on the college campus. The Anti-Ragging Cell is dedicated to maintaining a safe, secure, and inclusive environment where students can pursue their academic goals without fear or intimidation.

The primary objective of the Anti-Ragging Cell is to create awareness among students, promote ethical behavior, and ensure that all forms of bullying or harassment are addressed promptly and effectively. Regular orientation programs, workshops, and counseling sessions are conducted to educate both senior and junior students about the legal implications of ragging, the psychological impact on victims, and the importance of mutual respect and understanding within the campus community.

Any student found violating the anti-ragging norms is subject to strict disciplinary action, which may include suspension, expulsion, or legal prosecution as per prevailing laws. Additionally, the cell provides support and counseling services to victims to ensure their well-being and recovery.
